2. Charny asks: Knights and squires of a lord have fees, expenses and harness from that lord. If a knight and a squire gain prisoners and plenty of other goods, those being the people mentioned above, what profit or what share will they have from being in the company of that lord, apart from death?
Rossbach p. 152 n. 60 cites Bonet p. 102, which says that prisoners taken by soudoyers belong to their lord.
