W 18

18.  Charny asks:   Because I have heard it said of another type of man which like the others I cannot define, who are called vaillans men:  what kind of men are those and how, why or in what way should they be considered as vaillans?  Are they worth more than those who are preux or less?  What is it proper for them to have done; and of what condition should they be to have this great name and none other?
